The pop star was attending a service at the Saban Theatre when he was caught on camera knocking into a paparazzo outside the building.
The accident happened around 9.30pm last night local time, when he was pulling away in his vehicle to go home from church.
The singer was seen in his black Dodge Ram pick-up before he pulled out and hit the man who was taking pictures of him.
The paparazzo, 57, was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries, according to the New York Post’s Page Six column.
The singer was captured on video as he went to the aid of the photogpraher as police officers and paramedics arrived at the scene.
Beverly Hills police confirmed no arrests were made and they believe the incident was an accident.
The accident comes just days after the Sorry singer cancelled his Purpose World Tour, due to “unforeseen circumstances”.
The statement read: “Due to unforeseen circumstances, Justin Bieber will cancel the remainder of the Purpose World Tour concerts.
“Justin loves his fans and hates to disappoint them. He thanks his fans for the incredible experience of the Purpose World Tour over last 18 months.”
The tour kicked off on March 9 last year and was meant to end on October 10 in Indonesia.
Reports have surfaced around Bieber’s future being with his faith, as sources have claimed he may be exploring the idea of starting his own church.
He has denied the claims. He told TMZ this week: “No, you already know the reason.”
