The Warriors scored the first 13 points of the third quarter, and it included this gorgeous three-pointer by Steph Curry in which he left LeBron James on skates.
Curry had J.R. Smith on him, when Zaza Pachulia set a screen. LeBron crept up to help out on defense, and Curry handled him as easily as anybody could. And of course, Curry finished the play with the triple.
The Oracle Arena crowd was thrilled after the play, as the Warriors went up by 21 after the shot. We expect great plays like this from Curry, but it will never not be shocking when he does it to somebody like LeBron James.
This was the perfect metaphor for the Warriors’ dominant 113-91 Game 1 win.
